Storj is looking for a Product Marketing Leader to drive Storj’s go-to-market strategy, product marketing, and enablement for our decentralized cloud object storage platform. The ideal candidate enjoys early stage companies and is energized figuring out how to bring disruptive technologies to market. You are a multi-talented coach/player, excited about blending traditional enterprise marketing and the new paradigm of Web3 and decentralization. You are creative in your approach, yet technical enough to communicate with early adopters. You pair comfortably with your product manager cohorts; are able to write, talk about, and present technical products with ease and confidence. You will have responsibility for market segmenting, working closely with the sales team, solution architects, and demand gen team to create value props that resonate with and attract customers.
Note: This role is fully remote and based in the United States. This role is not open to visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product marketing. Define, lead, and execute GTM strategies to drive adoption for Storj.
- Domain expert. Become a domain expert on Storj and decentralization. Be a strong partner with product management leadership to comprehend features and roadmap with an in-depth understanding of how the target audience engages with our product.
- Develop messaging and positioning. For product releases, create messaging, value props, technical differentiators, that resonate with developers, IT managers, C-level prospects to clearly understand the value of our products.
- Market guru. Understand the full scope of our target market needs around pain points, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate on product strategy. Partner closely with the product team to understand the product strategy and develop customer narratives, thought leadership content, and customer success stories.
- High fidelity content. Produce high fidelity externally facing content for demand gen programs including thought leadership content, website content, customer stories, webinars, data sheets, solution guides, and beyond for all funnel stages.
- Sales enablement. Create dynamic and easy to understand internally facing content including sales enablement and training materials, competitive positioning, FAQs, and cheat sheets.
- Data driven. Work closely with cross-functional teams to track, measure and report against objectives and determine campaign and sales success.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software as a service (SaaS) or infrastructure as a service (IaaS) product marketing and technical marketing, with a proven track record of driving product and campaign content, product positioning and messaging, sales enablement.
- You are a curious, strategic thinker -- you like to go deep on product knowledge and enjoy the discovery process to highlight our key product differentiators.
- Experience building marketing programs in a fast-paced environment. Scrappy, creative thinking with an aptitude for sleuthing and discovery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Able to collaborate with a cross-functional team, both technical and business.
- Bachelors of Science in a technical degree such as engineering, computer science, data science, or equivalent experience.
