Who are we?
We are a young, ambitious, and values-led team working on the core blockchain technology of the Cosmos ecosystem and the Cosmos Hub. Our team stretches from the west coast of the US to eastern Europe. We keep in touch through Github, Slack, Discord, and Zoom, and meet in person periodically (when COVID permits). All in all, the software we develop secures billions of dollars in value across many different systems, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We strive to build world-class software while having plenty of laughs along the way.

We’re looking for a highly motivated operations assistant to help our team operate in an efficient and controlled way. We expect this person to have an extensive track record of managing complex tasks and relationships in a world-class professional environment.
Position Summary:
You'll provide operation administrative support directly to our executive Board of Management and Funding Programme, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy. Using business software applications you’ll draft, send or receive correspondence, contracts, reports, spreadsheets, invoices, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
You may also prepare responses to routine correspondence and admin inquiries as well as screenings and direct incoming calls, mail and email. You will maintain files, records, calendars, legal and financial documents; coordinate meeting agendas, as well as participate in the development and implementation of admin standards, policies and processes for the Interchain Foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Performing an extensive array of core administrative tasks (e.g.,organizing files across google drives and information on airtable, prepare presentations, take meeting notes, organize team meetings and workshops, travel arrangements, etc)
- Update and maintain policies and procedures
- Support hiring and onboarding process
- Track, organize, and submit expense reports
- Support the funding team on core task such as:
- Maintain project financial information, spreadsheets, scope of work and legal related documents
- Handle invoices and payments together with Interchain Finance Manager
- Sending agreements for signing
- Respond to routine requests for information regarding agreements, invoices or project inquiries and refer more complex requests as appropriate
- Prepare and format management reports
- Assist on legal admin tasks
Required skills and experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships with a broad range of colleagues and partners
- High standard of written and spoken communication skills in English
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite, Excel, Slack, Airtable, Discord, Telegram
- Proactive and very well organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Systematic knowledge of spreadsheets and tracking systems
Nice to have:
- Experience in a legal environment
