Job Description

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on compliance laws and regulations

  • Stay current with industry best practices and guidance related to regulatory compliance

  • Ensure continuous compliance with registration/licensing conditions

  • Take on compliance reviews of potential listings, perform diligence on project teams and product use cases, and evaluate related risks

  • Execute on a methodology for rating assets and Detecting and reporting suspicious transactions.

  • Feedback loop research findings to improve investigative tools and compliance controls

  • Extract and compile customer data required for the submission of external reports with the regulatory authority

  • Implement the Company's AML/CFT policies and procedures

  • Maintain a working knowledge of local AML/CFT regulations, best practices, internal controls and AML/CFT risk management practices

 

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in consumer payments/banking/virtual assets

  • Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles

  • Able to handle multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously

  • Excited about unlocking the crypto or blockchain

  • Experience working in a technology and financial environment and has a track record of quickly ramping up on complex projects/environments

  • Ability to author detailed business requirements and effectively communicate with product/technology teams

  • Strong attention to detail
