We are looking for an Investor Relations Director to be a key leader on the Republic Retail team. As an Investor Relations Director, you’ll be responsible for managing the investor support function at scale and improving customer satisfaction. The Investor Relations team is responsible for supporting the overall investor journey. You will oversee the team and will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, Operations and across the business to ensure a frictionless investor experience that will convert Republic users into active investors.
What you'll do:
Oversee the investor relations function for Republic Retail: You will be responsible for managing Republic’s off-shore call center and email support team. You will be tasked with refining processes, and setting and tracking quarterly OKRs. Reporting and Dashboards: You will be responsible for refining and analyzing investor dashboards to track KPIs including investor satisfaction, and provide monthly investor feedback reports. Manage Customer Support Systems: You will establish email and call ticketing processes and working with product to build a best in-class customer experience. You ideally have experience with Zendesk or another support management software and will be responsible for leveraging new tools to increase efficiency and take support to the next level. Campaign and Payment Operations: You will oversee the IR team in supporting campaign operations to ensure a frictionless investor experience for payments, refunds, Know-your-customer and Know-your-business requirements, as well as other campaign closing activities. Oversee investor support for token offerings: You will be responsible for tracking budget and implementing best-in-class support for Republic Crypto’s token offerings. This involves attending meetings with Crypto’s advisory clients and working with product and marketing to ensure a smooth investor experience. Crisis communications and damage control: You will own the process and playbook for handling complex customer support inquiries, difficult clients and complaints. You will also craft communications to address investor frustrations including product bugs, investment issues, or site outages.Content Creation: You will work with the marketing team to create educational collateral that clearly communicates Republic’s value prop, the securities exemptions we utilize, and our different investment verticals. This involves written FAQs and video tutorials.
Experience:
You must have or pass the SIE and Series 7 exam5+ years of customer relations management experience and are comfortable handling conflict and complex client relations. Experience with fintech or finance, and strong financial acumen. You are confident speaking to a HNWI or institutional partner. Understands the complexities of working in a highly regulated environment. You have familiarity with SEC/FINRA regulations regarding investor communications and understand of different securities exemptions.Experience with customer support tools (experience with Zendesk preferred)Comfortable taking initiative. There is no task too small or “not your job.” You understand that to begin, you will be required to ask questions and take action. Experience defining and tracking metrics. You thrive working with data sets and analyzing results to drive product, communication, and overall You have excellent written and verbal communication skills: You can represent Republic both online and in-person in a professional and clear manner. You can communicate complex topics in a simple and concise manner.
