Description

Exponent is looking for a growth lead to assist us with our growth efforts and expand Exponent’s presence. We need someone to take over our communications and make Exponent accessible to the Solana ecosystem, establishing it as the #1 place for DeFi users to generate predictable yield or improve their yield strategies on Solana.

Exponent is a yield exchange protocol that came out of stealth at the end of 2024. It allows users to exchange variable yields for fixed yields within Solana DeFi and introduces a new class of assets, sharing similarities with bonds and strips for fixed and leveraged yield trading.

The team of contributors behind Exponent has years of experience working in Solana for leading teams and is backed by investors like Solana Ventures, RockawayX, Robot Ventures, Mechanism, and more.

We believe interest rate predictability is a fundamental primitive for any economy and aim to fill this gap within Solana DeFi through Exponent.

Your Responsibilities

Content & Marketing

(our designer will provide graphic posts at your request)

  • Marketing campaigns — plan and execute targeted campaigns to drive specific audiences to Exponent’s range of products

  • Announcements and product updates (on X/Twitter) — to keep existing users up to date and reach new users

  • Educational content (threads, tutorials) — to facilitate access to Exponent’s yield products and strategies

  • Community engagement — be in the touch with the community to educate them about yield strategies possible through Exponent and help onboard new users

Assist on BD efforts (secondary responsibilities, handled as needed not day-to-day)

  • Establish new strategic relationships and manage existing ones (protocol partners, funds, power users)

  • Marketing partnerships with other protocols to grow Exponent’s image

  • Attend Solana conference events to represent Exponent

Requirements
  • Deep understanding of DeFi concepts and how to effectively communicate with DeFi audiences

  • Capable of creating in-depth DeFi content (e.g long form articles/threads) and writing engaging short form content in perfect English

  • Familiarity with Solana and its DeFi ecosystem

  • Resourceful and proactive mindset with a high degree of ownership over your responsibilities. You don’t wait for instructions to take action and execute
