AlphaPoint, a leading blockchain provider, is seeking a talented L2 tech support engineer to join our team! This individual will be a crucial member of our tech support group, helping to solve technical issues from the client and providing a direct impact on the client relationship and service delivery. The L2 tech support engineer will work directly with customer's technical teams to assist with troubleshooting issues, finding workarounds and solutions and gathering information. Provide customers with top tier service, ensure our SLAs are met and escalate to the wider technical teams where and when appropriate. This role is 100% US remote Basic requirements: - 3+ years of experience working directly with customers - Experience working directly with network and software solutions - Familiarity working in Linux and Windows - Ability to methodically work through issues - Strong attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Familiar with different kinds of ticketing systems - Understanding of RDBMS, specifically MySQL, including basic SQL formatting - Ability to read and understand log file contents and relate pertinent data to application functionality - Ability to think critically, understand complex concepts & link events together based on historical data - Understanding of remote control technologies such as RDP / VNC - Participation in on-call rotation Preferred Skills: - Experience with virtualization software - General understanding of data networks - Knowledge of VPN operation / configuration - Basic understanding of blockchain technology, primarily related to functionality - Basic understanding of Docker containers - Experience working with ticketing systems (creating, updating, closing) - Experience with Grafana dashboards Here are some of the benefits of working at AlphaPoint: - Competitive base salary, bonus, and equity
