What you’ll be doing:
- Working on features that make our APIs best-in-class.
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers and other project stakeholders throughoutthe software development life cycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment and support)
- Helping the team stay up-to-date with the tech stack ecosystem.
- Writing high quality code with performance and scalability in mind.
- Creating and maintaining public APIs, REST or GraphQL based.
- Creating and maintaining micro-services.
- Completing assigned tasks with high quality work both independently and with a team.
- Communicating at different levels of the organization to provide detailed or summarized information as needed.
Required qualifications:
- Candidate should have a BSc, or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science.
- Candidate must have 8 or more years of Java Software Development Experience.
- Candidate must have 5 or more years of building APIs.
- Candidate must have knowledge of the T24 / Temenos transaction processing engine.
- Candidate should have a strong understanding of Design Systems and Domain Driven Design.
- Candidate should have a strong understanding of PCI/PII compliance and application security standards.
- Candidate should have experience in a production support environment.
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of relational (preferably Microsoft SQL) and/or non-relational databases (e.g. Jbase).
- Candidate must have a knowledge of revision control systems.
- Candidate should have basic knowledge of standard development pipelines, including build and other automation tools.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be a team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and have a great attitude.
- Candidate must be fluent in written and oral English.
