Job purpose
StoneX is looking for a high performing Senior Manager to run and optimise our global Content Management (CMS) capability. This person plays a strategic role in defining and executing the roadmap of our Retail & B2B websites (www.Forex.com, www.CityIndex.com, www.StoneX.com, etc) across our serviced regions: UK, EU, APAC, Middle East, North America, LATAM. This is a key role within the global Customer Experience team, working alongside our in-house Copywriters, User Experience designers, Creative designers, Website editors, Optimisation managers and Web developers to deliver engaging digital solutions. This is a global team, distributed across our serviced regions, with a strong base in the London office.
While the core accountability is with managing the current and future CMS / Website product roadmap, the remit extends into other digital capabilities: Mobile app integrations, external APIs, data integration to support personalised digital experiences, marketing services automation, and much more. Besides the strategic scope, this is a hands-on role that requires significant experience with enterprise-level Content Management Systems, front-end development and product management.
Some of the immediate initiatives the person in this role will drive:
- Rebuilding our multi-lingual websites on a new CMS
- Regional rollout of branding changes
- Marketing technology integrations
- Setting up CMS taxonomy and personalisation engine
Key responsibilities:
Product development
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to define a roadmap of continuous enhancements to our Content Management capability
• Be the leading voice on digital best practices and latest marketing technology solutions
• Work closely with project managers, front-end and back-end development teams to ensure any additional functionality is specified, documented, prioritized and delivered within agreed timeframes.
• Manage the product backlog prioritization and scrum meetings
• Closely work with development teams to guide decision on proposed technical solutions, keeping in mind both client impact and internal operational impact
• Contribute to documentation, guidelines, technical specification and deliver training when required.
• Active part of monitoring development bugs, fixes and hand-on testing ahead of production deployments
• Work with UX/UI designers on refining solutions to meet both client and project goals
• Create solutions which meet the legal and compliance requirements towards a Financial Services provider
Websites management
• Webmaster / Hands-on Sitecore CMS management (Sitecore 9.3 & Sitecore 10), working with IT teams to ensure websites uptime, performance and best customer experience at all times.
• Coordinate access for CMS content editors, providing training and setting guidelines.
• Support CMS editors with questions, troubleshooting and finding solutions for complex marketing requirements
• Automation of repeated editing activities to achieve operational efficiencies
• Identify opportunities for page speed & performance optimization, work with SEO experts to continuously adhere to best practices
• Be the CMS capability subject matter expert
· MarTech & Personalisation
• Integrate Sitecore CMS with other data sources (e.g Salesforce) required for personalization
• Drive the implementation of a taxonomy / content tagging solution
• Work closely with the Snr Optimisation manager to set up the Sitecore personalization engine
• Liaise with business stakeholders, external partners and development teams to drive automation initiatives: content reusage across website and CVM journeys, creative assets storage and maintenance etc.
• Work with the Acquisition team and external agencies to ensure end-to-end tracking
• Advising capacity on best usage and integrations with optimization tools

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
Required Skills:
· First and furthermost you are passionate about delivering technical solutions which enhance our clients’ digital experience. You will be keen to identify opportunities for content management operational efficiencies and relieve web editors of repetitive tasks.
· You will have experience building and managing websites with multiple web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Services)
· You have significant experience with Content Management systems (preferably Sitecore and AEM, or other enterprise-level CMS)
· You have proven experience in managing a product roadmap and backlog, gathering requirements and creating development product specs documents for UX, front end functionality and other supporting capabilities.
· Experience in UX design techniques, Wireframing, IA and usability research techniques.
· Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other tools such as InDesign.
· Experience with CRO tools (Optimizely) and methodologies.
· Ability to prioritize work and features requests based on data driven insights.
· Product/Project management experience.
· A deep understanding of SEO best practices.
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
· Experience with Jira and Confluence (nice to have).
