Senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing electrical systems ranging from low voltage to very high voltage. The person will be responsible for designing and executing data centers and the integration of renewable energy sources (PV and Wind) with a local behind-the-meter low voltage demand as well as very high voltage electric lines (up to 500kV). Resourcefulness and ingenuity are required to come up with cutting edge solutions in a new fast-growing industry.
Candidates must be willing to travel and speak fluent English.
Design electrical aspects of state-of-the-art data centers
Design integration of RE production with behind-the-meter demand
Design integration of RE production with electric grid
Interact with R&D partners on research projects and integrate findings in designs
Interact independently with suppliers and contractors to build data centers, RE plants, substations
Interact with local suppliers and contractors to ensure local norms and regulations are respected
Work closely with other team members in the construction and delivery of the projects
Travel to sites to ensure correct execution of works
MSc (or above) university degree in Electrical Engineering
>5 years in designing electrical systems
Solid knowledge of electrical systems ranging from low voltage DC to very high voltage AC
