Provide the software infrastructure, tools, services, programs and support for creation on one of the world’s fastest, most sustainable and consistently reliable public blockchain - XRPL. Increase the capabilities, performance, scalability and reliability of XRP ledger tooling. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from sculpting technical vision and software design to unit, performance and integration testing. Be part of the extended XRP ledger community, continuously raising the standards of engineering excellence by fostering best practices for coding, testing, and deployment. Build scalable and performant enterprise software based on deep understanding of Java and its ecosystem. Work with teams across the organization, including product, legal, and business development to gather requirements and think beyond the technical implications of design decisions. Build scalable and performant enterprise software and end-to-end software solutions. Perform test-driven development with high code coverage.
Telecommuting permitted up to 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post- baccalaureate software development experience, or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 3 years of software development experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in the following:
- Java language or similar (Typescript, Golang, Scala, Rust, or Python);
- API design principles (REST/JSON or GRPC);
- Version control tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Flyway, or Liquibase);
- Building end-to-end software solutions, and;
- Test-driven development with high code coverage.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in two or more of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
- Experience contributing to open-source web frameworks and/or web testing frameworks;
- Experience with Web3/blockchain applications;
- Experience working closely with developer relations teams.
