Role at a Glance:
We are looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer to join our design team at Paystand, a leading enterprise SaaS company revolutionizing B2B payments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on multiple products and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and senior designers. As a Junior Designer, you will help create intuitive, user-friendly designs that enhance the experience for users across Paystand and its subsidiaries, TeamPay and Yaydoo.
In this role, you will support the design team in creating and refining user interfaces for our B2B payment solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills through hands-on experience, mentorship from senior designers, and exposure to the full design process, from research to final implementation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in UI/UX design within a dynamic and fast-paced FinTech environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications across Paystand, TeamPay, and Yaydoo, ensuring a user-friendly, cohesive experience.
- Help maintain a consistent design language across the entire product suite by contributing to the design system and UI patterns.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure designs meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Assist in conducting user research, such as surveys, user interviews, and usability tests, to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to help refine and improve designs.
- Participate in iterative design processes, including prototyping, testing, and refining designs based on user feedback.
- Work within established design processes, while bringing fresh ideas and creativity to solve design challenges.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design, with exposure to enterprise SaaS or B2B products (internship experience will be considered).
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, demonstrating an understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools. Knowledge of prototyping and user testing tools is a plus.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs quickly to meet project goals.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to working with design systems and an understanding of how to maintain consistency across multiple products.
- Interest or experience in FinTech, payment systems, or SaaS products.
- Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus but not required.
