We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to join the Republic Crypto Advisory team. This role is all about getting things done within our sales process - keeping leads moving seamlessly, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
While the primary focus will be on the operational side of business development, you’ll have opportunities to support client-facing activities and contribute to building meaningful relationships. You’ll take ownership of executing initiatives, supporting go-to-market strategies, and coordinating efforts across multiple team
In this role, you’ll work closely with Maria, our Director of Business Development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech Diligence, Legal, Finance, and Digital Currencies, to ensure alignment and deliver results. This division reports directly to the co-founder of Republic Crypto

What you’ll do
- Lead Management: Take ownership of the lead pipeline, managing opportunities from initial contact to signed contracts. Ensure every step is tracked, follow-ups are timely, and proposals are delivered with precision.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams across strategy, design, tech, and marketing to align objectives, streamline workflows, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and on track.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on emerging markets, industries, and trends to identify opportunities, perform due diligence, and support go-to-market strategies.
- Team Player: Act as a dependable team player, stepping in when needed to support colleagues, catch oversights, and ensure projects are completed successfully.
KPIs for Success
- Pipeline Management - maintain an organized pipeline, ensuring lead are progressed from introduction to signed agreements
- Proposal Quality and Turnaround - deliver clear, tailored, and compelling proposals which lead to signed client engagements, highlight Republic Crypto’s strengths and how clients can benefit from our expertise
- Market Expansion Support: Contribute to the successful execution of go-to-market strategies in emerging regions like Vietnam, the Philippines, and MENA, as well as in verticals like AI.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency of the sales cycle, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams
Our ideal candidate
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience with a demonstrated track record of success in academic and professional endeavors
- Prior experience in business development, operations, or client-facing roles is beneficial
- Candidates from diverse industries such as law, technology, and consulting
- Strong communicators with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinkers with a highly analytical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Problem ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet competing deadlines
- Highly organized and comfortable navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Motivated self-starters with a desire to learn and take on new challenges
- Thrives in ambiguous situations and embraces a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- Displays an entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and a proactive approach to new opportunities
- Familiarity with sales systems, like Affinity, Salesforce, or other CRM tools is a plus

A qualified candidate, based in New York, can expect a base salary of $90,000-$100,000. A standard offer from Republic includes base compensation, equity options, and a highly competitive benefits and perks package. Offers are determined by a number of factors including (but not limited to) the applicant's experience, skills, certifications, as well as internal equity among our team.
