The team
Kraken’s Engagement Group consists of several teams responsible for activation, retention, and reactivation. As a leader of this group, you will own key metrics around growing the breadth and depth of product usage in order to drive stronger retention and revenue. In this role, you will also be expected to be an individual contributor, product managing a cross-functional team working on referrals & incentives. As a key member of the Growth organization, you will need to bring a Growth mindset to the team - thinking in hypotheses and operating at a velocity that enables us to test, learn, and optimize across multiple products with a complex web of stakeholders.
The opportunity
- Lead a team of Product Managers across the Engagement area whilst acting as a high impact individual contributor
- Design and build a best in class referral program & incentive engine platform
- Create a strategy for how we can increase engagement and retention of new user cohorts from day 1, and put them on a path to deepen their relationship with Kraken
- Lead cross-functional collaboration: in this role you will have to work closely with both our marketing teams, as well as, our other business unit leaders to execute a clear vision in a complex and fast working environment
Skills you should HODL
- Minimum 7+ years of product management experience
- Experience leading teams while maintaining the flexibility to step in as a high-impact individual contributor
- Experience working in growth teams for companies at scale (over 1M clients)
- Experience owning retention & engagement metrics
- Experience managing and iterating on referral programs or incentive engines at scale
- Experience in data gathering, quantitative analysis, and the ability to translate these into actionable strategies
- Love for AB testing and experimentation
- Proactive mindset, always looking for innovative, yet simple solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in interacting and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities with the skill to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Deep understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Passionate about the crypto space
