Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Develop policies, procedures, controls and reporting to comply with regulatory requirements; provide training programs to foster Phantom’s compliance culture
- Manage relationships with third-party compliance vendors
- Provide compliance advice in connection with new product development
- Oversee Sanctions and UK Financial Promotions compliance programs
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, finance law or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role within financial services, fintech or crypto industries
- Demonstrated ability to build compliance programs
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, BSA, Global Sanctions, etc.
- Strong analytical skills to assess requirements and develop effective compliance strategies
- Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The target base salary for this role will range between $225,500 to $280,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors at the point in time of offer.
