We're launching Boros, a groundbreaking new platform for trading interest rate swaps on perpetual funding rates, and we're building a team of passionate, driven individuals to make it a success.
About the Role:
We're seeking a sharp, highly motivated Algorithmic Trading Strategist to join our core team and play a crucial role in the launch and growth of Boros. You'll be working directly with the founders and a small team of experienced engineers to help design, build, and optimize market-making systems that will contribute to the liquidity on the Boros platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trading System Design & Implementation:
- Help with the design and implementation of a robust and scalable trading system, including monitoring and alerting systems.
- Identify potential points of failure, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization within the trading system.
- Strategy Development & Improvement:
- Refine and improve existing market-making strategies for Boros.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with co-founders and engineers to align trading strategies with the overall priorities.
- Communicate technical concepts and trading performance clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and trading strategies (market making, arbitrage, etc.).
- Experience with programming languages for trading systems (Python, Typescript, Go, Rust …)
- Experience implementing or improving trading strategies.
- Good understanding of funding rates and cash-and-carry strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- An interest in DeFi and the future of finance.
