The opportunity:
Uphold is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Product team. In this role, you will collaborate with existing Product Managers within the Lifecycle group, contributing to initiatives that enhance onboarding, activation, and account maintenance while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and fraud prevention measures—all while delivering a seamless and engaging user experience.
Additionally, you will help improve our internal tools, which enables our Support and Operations teams to manage customer accounts more effectively. Your contributions will directly increase operational efficiency, improve user satisfaction, and strengthen trust and retention across the platform.
This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring collaboration with Design, Compliance, Fraud, Legal, Engineering, Support teams and others to create secure, efficient, and user-friendly experiences.
What you’ll be doing primarily:
- Enhance the customer onboarding and activation processes, working closely with Product Design, Marketing, and Engineering to optimize user conversion and engagement.
- Support improvements to our internal tools, streamlining customer support operations, increasing agent efficiency, and improving user satisfaction.
- Work with Compliance, Legal, and Fraud teams to translate regulatory and security requirements into product solutions that balance security with usability.
- Contribute to cross-vertical product initiatives, collaborating with other PMs to drive company-wide improvements.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve key metrics such as onboarding, activation, and user trust.
- Ensure clear and accessible product documentation for internal stakeholders across departments.
Required qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working on technology-driven products as a Product Manager, Product Designer, Engineer, Data Analyst/Scientist, or User Researcher.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with high emotional intelligence.
- Metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to define and track success metrics across initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both internal and external data.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in fintech or finance-related industries.
- Background in onboarding, activation, compliance, or fraud-related topics.
- Technical experience.
