The opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Senior Temenos T24/Transact Engineer to join our dedicated Core Banking team.
As a Senior T24 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating our system with various bank networks (ACH, SEPA, FPS, etc.), card networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), alternative payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) and maintaining the company’s physical and virtual card products.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power our comprehensive banking solutions.
What you’ll be doing primarily:
- Spearheads the analysis and design of technical solutions to meet the functional and technical requirements of the Temenos T24 core banking system.
- Design, develop, and maintain services and APIs that support our platform.
- Implement features that enhance the functionality and user experience of our core banking solutions.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage services using cloud platforms like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to best practices.
- Provide leadership, training and guidance to junior T24 developers.
- Monitor security access and perform security log analysis to identify unauthorized access attempts.
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with T24.
- 3+ years of experience as an implementation, software or test engineer in a recent release of Temenos T24.
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of several T24 core business and technical modules, Infobasic and Java programming, Unix shell scripting, SQL.
- Familiarity with TAFC and TAFJ.
- Comprehensive understanding of test frameworks.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices, especially in the context of financial systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Fluent written and oral English skills.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in the Fintech or banking industry.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in integrating APIs from other services providers.
- Open source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you’ve had or fixing issues on existing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
