Over the last 2 years, SOCKET has facilitated over $15bn in volumes. SOCKET is leveraged by the top protocols & applications in the space like Metamask, Coinbase, Rabby, OpenSea, Aevo, Matcha & more. SOCKET is looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to focus on driving awareness for our protocol. As a Marketing Manager, you will own planning and execution for all kinds of campaigns including product launches, ecosystem marketing & more.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to expand our brand and narratives. You will drive all kinds of marketing initiatives including product launches & co-marketing.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, business development) to ensure cohesive messaging and successful product launches.
- Work extensively with external stakeholders like partners & ecosystem to plan & execute successful co-marketing campaigns
- Build and nurture relationships with SOCKET ecosystem teams to understand their needs and help them succeed on their chain abstraction GTM
- Be the creative force within the marketing team to ideate campaigns based on the messaging and narratives we want to drive
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.
- Build scalable processes to streamline marketing activities ensuring we can handle 10x more activities
- Ensure SOCKET reaches new and existing users through a variety of channels, including social media, community platforms, KOLs and events.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing roles managing wide range of campaigns & launches. Experience working in a L1/L2 project is a plus
- You’re a strong communicator, can articulate your thoughts to all stakeholders extremely well with the ability to align them towards your goal
- You are an idea machine and love doing unconventional & out-of-the-box things
- You’re into the trenches — you use crypto apps regularly, understand the crypto culture and are very familiar with current metas, conversations & narratives
- Collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally with product, tech, and design teams.
- Extremely organized with the ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple campaigns with a lot of moving parts
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing while balancing high-level strategy.
- Strong storytelling ability with experience crafting compelling narratives.
- Bonus Points if you actively write or tweet often and have built a presence on X/substack or other channels.
