About Us
Parity is one of the world's most experienced core blockchain infrastructure companies, building the open-source technologies that will lay the foundations for the new decentralised internet. Parity was founded by Dr. Gavin Wood, co-founder and former CTO of Ethereum, the primary engineer behind the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), inventor of the Solidity programming language, and primary author of the Ethereum Yellowpaper.
We believe in a decentralised web that respects the freedom and data of individuals, and empowers developers to build better services. Our vision is to create a world based on truthful, rather than trustful, interactions.
With a remote-first, global team, Parity is building open-source technologies, including Polkadot, Substrate, and Kusama.

- Autonomous workers that self-initiate, but also collaborate well with others

- Comfortable with chaos and adapting to the ever-changing Web3 space
- Continuously educating themselves about Parity and the wider ecosystem
About the Team:
The SRE team is core to the Polkadot platform’s reliability, scalability, and performance. We operate where software development meets operations and ensure our systems operate with speed, efficiency, and resiliency as we scale.
The SRE team writes code, designs systems, and automates processes. Our Site Reliability Engineers collaborate closely with developers and the Polkadot community in a federated and decentralised system.

About You:
- A strong desire to automate and streamline releases
- Proficiency in a programming language e.g. Rust
- Experience owning a complex, federated release management process
- Ability to articulate the purpose of release management, key outcomes, how to track them, and measure improvements
- Skilled at communicating core release management principles—version control, risk management, traceability—to diverse stakeholders
- Basic understanding of security processes and principles
- Strong knowledge of CI tools
- Proven experience in building effective automation
Why Join Us:
- Competitive remuneration packages based on iterative market research, including tokens (where legally possible).
- “Future of work” environment that’s remote-first and self-initiating with flexible hours.
