The newly formed Salesforce team will be instrumental in maturing our Salesforce environment and expanding its adoption throughout the firm. By leading key strategic initiatives and deploying advanced solutions, this team will maintain Salesforce as a central element of our continuous success and growth.
As the Salesforce Platform Lead, you will shape the overall strategy, vision, and direction of our Salesforce environment based on evolving business needs. Your role will involve both developing and managing our Salesforce implementation, optimizing its capabilities, and collaborating with external consultants. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting executives as they adopt and utilize Salesforce. This position requires a balance of deep technical development expertise and strong leadership skills, as you will be leading and influencing the direction of a newly established in-house team from the ground up. You’ll be right at home if you:
- Have 5 or more years of proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Developer, Architect or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams.
- Proven track record of implementing Salesforce projects, preferably using Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, consultants, and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience working with Salesforce consultants and third-party vendor integrations (e.g. Slack, SharePoint, Centro).
- High proficiency in Salesforce development, from Forms to Flows to Apex.
- Experience with data manipulation and complex data management
- Experience with integrations using APIs and middleware tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate a growing, fast-paced organization.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator, Architect or Developer) are highly preferred.
- Have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
What you’ll be working on:
- Platform Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Salesforce environment, ensuring best practices in configuration and customization.
- Complex Global Instance: Work closely with multiple verticals and functional groups within the DRW group to achieve consensus and a single set of common business processes and practices. Data security is of paramount importance to the implementation across all areas of the platform.
- Consultant Management and Collaboration: Work closely with external Salesforce consultants to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Develop, lead and mentor a growing Salesforce team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Stakeholder Support: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide tailored Salesforce solutions to drive adoption and efficiency.
- Integration: Manage Salesforce integrations with other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, new features, and trends to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000 USD to $280,000 USD, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
