About the Job:
Babylon Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Associate to play a pivotal role in our financial operations. This position will work closely with the CFO to insource accounting for the Babylon Foundation and its subsidiaries, ensuring the highest standards of financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Conduct regular checks and balances to ensure the effectiveness of controls, identify deficiencies and find corrective actions
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Oversee the processing of financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Work closely with department teams across the Babylon organization to prepare and monitor budgets
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably with Big4 background, knowledge of IFRS and accounting ERP (i.e. SAP, Xero, QB)
