The Role
As the Head of Financial Products, you will be responsible for driving the development, strategy, and growth of our newly established business area within financial products from a product, marketing, and sales perspective . You will work closely with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners to successfully establish and expand Safello’s presence in the financial products market. The role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a strategic mindset to position Safello as a key player in the regulated crypto investment space.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the overall strategy for Safello’s Financial Products division, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Product Development: Oversee the procurement, launch and management of Safello’s financial products including ETPs ensuring product transparency, compliance, and market competitiveness.
- Market Expansion: Drive business development efforts to establish and grow the Financial Products market, targeting both retail and institutional investors in Sweden and beyond.
- Partnership Management: Maintain and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including Nasdaq Stockholm, brokerage firms, and financial institutions.
- Revenue Growth: Optimize revenue generation from assets under management by enhancing distribution channels and investor engagement.
- Industry Advocacy: Represent Safello in industry discussions, panels, and events to strengthen brand positioning in the crypto-financial products market.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in financial services, asset management, or structured products, ideally within ETPs, ETFs, funds or digital assets.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and financial regulations.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment and navigating the evolving regulatory landscape in crypto investments.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to manage external partnerships.
- Excellent sales experience and skills, with a proven ability to drive business growth, build client relationships, and expand market presence.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with institutional investors, regulators, and industry leaders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive new initiatives and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
