The Opportunity:
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic FinOps team, acting as a vital link between our finance and engineering departments. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing internal tools to streamline and automate Financial Operations, working in close collaboration with the FinOps team and addressing market demands.
What you'll be doing primarily:
- Design, develop, and enhance tools to support and optimize Financial Operations.
- Collaborate closely with both the Finance and Engineering teams to align technical requirements with business objectives.
- Create, maintain, and support finance-related software tools for internal use, and facilitate seamless third-party vendor integrations.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of development experience with modern programming languages such as Go and/or Javascript
- Proficiency in developing REST and/or RPC APIs
- Experience integrating APIs from external services
- Familiarity with revision control systems
- Knowledge of standard development pipelines, including build and other automation tools
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Fluent written and oral English skills.
Bonus if you have:
- Direct experience with Go development, as it will be the primary language used in the role
- Experience with cloud architecture, particularly AWS and Docker
- Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
- Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your interests and research.
- Open source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you’ve had or fixing issues on existing projects.
