We believe Ethereum has the potential to solve some of humanity’s most crucial coordination issues. Since our initial inception as a research group, we have sought to scale both its technology and values.
At present, the most pressing bottleneck to the growth of Ethereum is its performance and scalability. We are building the most elegant solution to this problem. We do this in the open (under an MIT open source license) because we believe in open source innovation and its ability to accelerate growth.
OP Labs contributes to the Optimism protocol, an extension to Ethereum that scales both its technology and values. Optimism enables orders of magnitude of improved performance and scalability to Ethereum while doubling down on its commitment to public goods.

Position Overview:
As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making, particularly for our Product and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing actionable insights to drive financial efficiency and growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain space, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Support strategic decision-making with scenario analysis and financial impact assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to product development and engineering efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide financial perspective and support strategic initiatives.
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
What skills do you bring?
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Project ROI Analysis.
- Proficiency in financial tools and software such as Excel, Google Sheets, and financial planning platforms
- Solid understanding of blockchain technology, crypto economics, and digital asset markets.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Compensation Range: $130K - $170K
