Coinbase is seeking a highly motivated frontend software engineer to join the team.You will help build localised experiences targeting Singaporean and other APAC users.
Your eye for UX polish and seamless experiences will help to make cryptocurrency accessible and feel personalised to your friends, family, and everyone across the globe.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
- Solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems
- Implement scalable, extensible, maintainable and high quality code for web and mobile while keeping the customer experience & quality top of mind.
- Add positive energy in every meeting making your coworkers feel included in every interaction.
What we look for in you:
- You have at least 2+ years of experience with building products in traditional finance or crypto spaces.
- You have at least 2+ years of experience in developing web or mobile apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
- You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability.
- You’re familiar with product and design life-cycles, and collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with GraphQL and React Relay for data fetching & rendering
- You have knowledge of Protobuff and GRPC
- Experience in backend development, especially with Golang and MongoDB
- Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
