The Role
As a Senior Backend Developer at Safello, you will be a key contributor to our development team, building and scaling the APIs powering our mobile and web applications. You’ll write well-tested, high-performance code and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will also guide architectural decisions that enhance the reliability and scalability of our backend systems.
About You
• 7+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, ideally with Java Spring Boot
•Skilled in SQL, AWS setup and cloud infrastructure
•Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines as a core part of your workflow
•Familiar with microservice infrastructure and design patterns
•Experienced in building high-transaction, high-availability systems
•Able to write clean, testable code and conduct effective code reviews
•Strong problem solver who can troubleshoot and optimize existing services
•DevOps experience is a plus; interest in blockchain and crypto is highly valued
•STEM degree or equivalent practical experience
•Team-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and a drive to innovate
