About the role
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team focused on building and scaling Paxos’ next-generation platform experiences. You’ll drive initiatives across our systems and services, balancing technical excellence with business impact. This role offers the opportunity to shape how customers and internal users interact with Paxos’ products, working closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions that scale with our rapidly growing customer base.
What you’ll do
- Lead the delivery and execution of key engineering initiatives by managing resources, timelines, and team members effectively while maintaining high quality standards
- Drive accountability for deploying, operating, and monitoring solutions by ensuring proper alignment of technical resources and skill sets
- Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to make strategic decisions that benefit our customers, using clear communication and data-driven decision making
- Guide the technical direction of your team’s systems and services through thoughtful insights and operational rigor
- Identify and remove process bottlenecks and technical constraints before they impact team success
- Build and manage a world-class engineering team through timely feedback, career development, and swift action on performance issues
- Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices around testing, monitoring, and incident response
About you
- 7+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Strong technical background in full-stack web development, with expertise in modern frontend frameworks and backend systems
- Experience building and scaling customer-facing applications with complex authentication, authorization and workflow requirements
- Track record of successfully delivering large technical initiatives while managing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and business teams
- Experience implementing engineering best practices, monitoring, and operational excellence in a high-growth environment
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor and grow engineering talent
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work
- Previous experience in fintech or regulated industries is a plus

Compensation Range: $241,000 - $275,925
