The team
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a crucial role in shaping the future of Kraken in the Crypto space. We need an IC to take ownership of complex design challenges and spearhead the design and delivery of our consumer focused trading apps from concept to delivery. The opportunity
- Raise the bar for the industry by creating visually rich, forward-thinking designs that elevate Kraken’s brand and set new benchmarks for excellence.
- Shape and evolve Kraken’s visual language, strengthening our design system and overall brand expression.
- Craft exceptional user experiences by collaborating closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Influence stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of design quality and user experience.
- Own your work fully, taking accountability for design quality, outcomes, and measurable results.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, using customer insights to refine and advance our design direction.
Skills you should HODL
- 5+ years of proven experience delivering end-to-end product design, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality mobile app work.
- Strong UX and visual design skills, with the ability to take on challenging problems and deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Comfortable taking ownership of high impact features or projects while collaborating closely with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Open-minded and collaborative, with an eagerness to learn from feedback and iterate on designs.
- Data-informed approach to design decisions, balancing user insights, business needs, and technical feasibility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and align with stakeholders.
- Strong familiarity with human-centered design principles and research methods, and a willingness to apply them to improve outcomes.
- Ability to present and defend design decisions confidently to both peers and non-design audiences.
- Experience in designing trading products is a plus.
