We are hiring a Product Designer II for our Activation Pillar. This role focuses on the "point of action"—the design strategy for how customers execute, optimize, and scale their media investments. While our foundation is adtech, the challenges we solve revolve around complex financial transactions, high-throughput workflows, and data-rich automation that will feel familiar to designers from Fintech or Martech backgrounds. You will join a group of highly skilled designers working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to deliver the next generation of activation tools.
This person should be able to work in our NYC or Redwood City, CA office 2-3 days a week.
What will this person be responsible for?
- Take ownership of the product design process from initial discovery through final implementation for Activation initiatives.
- Design intuitive interfaces for our best-in-class execution engine, managing high-velocity transactions and massive scalability.
- Translate technical capabilities, like prioritized inventory waterfalls and multiple layers of volume capping, into user-friendly supply control tools.
- Imagine future interaction patterns where users supervise and guide AI-driven optimizations rather than manually executing tasks.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to design "omnichannel" surfaces that integrate specialized media formats like Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) into unified workflows.
- Maintain and extend our design system to support emerging automation and activation workflows.
- Deliver high-quality user flows, wireframes, prototypes and production-ready designs.
- Conduct usability tests and interviews to validate that designs meet the needs of media sellers and buyers.
What will the ideal candidate embody?
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving technical constraints.
- Systems-oriented and capable of thinking through complex, data-heavy problems.
- Detail-oriented and able to iterate quickly based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Highly collaborative and effective at working across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Unbiased and curious, applying an empathetic approach to both external clients and internal users like AdOps.
What experience will the right person need to have?
- 3+ years of relevant experience in product design, specifically with complex workflow (prior AdTech, FinTech or MarTech experience preferred) or platform tools.
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering on technical software or data-driven products.
- Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma (know your way around tokens/primitives/modes/etc.) and its AI counterpart like Figma Make.
- Strong foundational skills in user research, information architecture and visual design.
- Skilled communicator who can translate technical complexity into intuitive user experiences.
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize work in a high-growth environment.
- Understanding of standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to support handoffs to engineering.
Bonus points
- Experience with automation tools, conversational interfaces, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Background in AdTech, Fintech, Martech or data management platforms.
- Experience designing for high-throughput transactional systems or inventory management tools.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our RWC or NYC office.
The approximate compensation range for this position is $90,000-$105,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors, including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
