Cboe Global Markets operates a key office in the Overland Park Xchange (OPx), located in Overland Park, Kansas, a bustling suburb of Kansas City. Role Overview
- The Identity Governance and Administrations (IGA) team at Cboe implements key Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives like user life cycle management, role-based access control, user access reviews, and integration with critical systems. This position will support the Information Security team to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of identity and privileged access security controls through a combination of techniques that provide standardization, consistency, and optimization to achieve the global security mission in protecting people, assets, and reputation.
- We are an Identity Governance program that ensures appropriate access is granted to trusted identities where trust is built by a team dedicated to supporting a set of regularly validated processes. IGA: We build trusted markets by enabling trusted digital identities.
Your responsibilities will be:
The Sr IGA Operations Associate - Information Security will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise identity governance and access management security solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Administer and troubleshoot accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), enterprise and SaaS applications, and SSO/MFA platforms.
- Resolve escalated access issues requiring deeper directory, identity, or workflow knowledge.
- Support onboarding and offboarding for privileged accounts or sensitive roles.
- Ensure operational activities follow internal security policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- Assist in recurring access certifications, entitlement reviews, and remediation efforts.
- Identify potential access risks and escalate appropriately.
- Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to access workflows, approval chains, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with IAM Engineering or IT teams on automation (e.g., PowerShell scripts, provisioning integrations).
- Serve as an operational SME for access management policies and tools.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts; assist with training and onboarding.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects impacting IAM, such as new application onboarding or security initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and identity governance practices.
The ideal candidate has
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management/IGA Operations, Active Directory / Azure AD administration, User lifecycle and access request fulfillment and IT operations with exposure to security processes.
- High level knowledge in identity and access management or cyber security fields.
- Strong understanding of RBAC models, least privilege/access governance, and authentication and identity security principles.
- Proficient in Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra, Single-Sign-On and MFA.
- Strong analytical skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, process documentation, and project management skills.
- Strong customer service focus when interacting with stakeholders and resolving access related requests.

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)
At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market‑informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,500-$143,000, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.
This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
