Position Summary
We offer an attractive, formula-based, uncapped bonus structure tied directly to originated revenue, paid quarterly.
We are looking for a VP / Director Custody/WaaS Sales professional with a strong network in the crypto institutional space. The ideal candidate has been part of a fast-growing crypto business, has consistently generated custody/WaaS revenues, and has converted relationships into recurring flow and assets under custody.
This is a pure origination role with high autonomy and direct impact on revenue from day one. You will own the commercial cycle end-to-end: prospecting, onboarding coordination, and ongoing client coverage.
The platform is proven, the licenses are real, and we have the right to win in many of the deals you'll work on. We expect the person in this seat to succeed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the full commercial cycle: prospecting, qualification, structuring, closing, and ongoing client coverage.
- Identify and win new clients, business opportunities, and markets to grow custody volume, AUC, and revenue - this is a hunting role.
- Translate Hex Safe's technical edge (sub-1s cold signing, API-first, DeFi connectivity, native staking, multi-account / multi-user / hyper-customizable approvals) into commercial wins.
- Work with product team, client operations, compliance, legal to deliver smooth onboarding.
- Feed product, marketing, and leadership with market intelligence and client signal that shapes the roadmap.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of institutional sales or BD experience.
- At least 2-3 years in crypto, ideally selling Wallet-as-a-Service, custody, prime brokerage, or related institutional crypto infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of the crypto custody landscape and infrastructure.
- Proven track record of onboarding and growing institutional client accounts and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Fluent English is required. Mandarin is a strong plus for HK and Singapore-based candidates.
- Highly organized and self-driven, comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
