Your Mission
The EcoDev Research Team at the EF is seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join a six-month research fellowship. You’ll have the opportunity to independently explore a nascent Ethereum use case of your choice, diving deep into its potential and identifying the blockers and enablers that could drive its success. While the focus will be on one use case, there is potential to expand your research to additional areas as your project develops. Throughout the fellowship, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate with other driven individuals in the Ethereum space. This is a full-time, 100% remote position.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on your chosen Ethereum use case, identifying key blockers and enablers.
- Develop a deep understanding of the use case and how Ethereum’s unique capabilities can unlock new possibilities.
- Collaborate with experts within the Ethereum ecosystem and your use case industry to enrich your research.
- Provide regular progress updates through monthly reports and a final report summarizing your findings at the end of the fellowship.
- Present your work to the EF and potentially share insights at public events.
Required Skills & Experience
- A deep interest in Ethereum and/or the specific use case you wish to research, with the potential to expand to more use cases.
- Willingness to work hard, dive deep, and independently drive your research forward.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality research that can provide valuable insights to the Ethereum ecosystem.

Position Details
- Full-time: This is a six-month, full-time position.
- Remote: 100% remote with flexible working hours.
- Stipend: Fellows will receive a monthly stipend to support their work.
