The Principal Product Manager, Compliance is responsible for defining and leading the strategy, planning, delivery, marketing, and operations of new Chainlink platform products. These products will enable customers in the Banking and Capital Markets segment to define, implement, and maintain robust governance controls over entities and operations in and between blockchains and traditional systems. This role is critical in ensuring that customers' DLT and blockchain-based workflows meet internal controls for risk management and regulatory compliance, while also establishing secure and privacy-preserving representations of identities and claims about entities involved in these workflows.
Your Impact
- Develop a comprehensive suite of Chainlink platform capabilities to support customers' governance and compliance requirements, including identity management, credential issuance, policy definition, enforcement mechanisms, and auditing/reporting
- Design specification languages and interfaces that allow customers to easily define and configure their business rules and policies
- Architect robust, scalable, and flexible enforcement components that can be deployed on-chain, off-chain, or in hybrid configurations to apply business rules across distributed systems
- Create a management control plane that enables customers to establish enforcement points, observe policy application, and monitor the overall governance posture
- Ensure the Chainlink governance solutions are seamlessly integrated with customers' existing enterprise applications and platforms, enabling a unified approach to risk management and compliance
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing internal controls and compliance frameworks for risk management and regulatory compliance at a major financial institution
- Strong understanding of identity management, credential issuance, and privacy-preserving data representations and workflows
- Expertise in distributed ledger technology (DLT) and its use-cases in capital markets
- Proficient in designing specification languages for the definition of business rules and policies
- Hands-on experience in implementing on-chain, off-chain, and hybrid enforcement components to apply business rules in distributed systems
- Skilled in building management control plans to set up enforcement points and monitor policy application
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Requirements
- User experience design skills to create intuitive interfaces for customers to configure policies and business rules
- Knowledge of audit and reporting mechanisms for governance control enforcement
- Familiarity with integrating distributed systems with traditional enterprise applications and platforms
- Experience in influencing and driving results against a complex set of customer requirements and dependant roadmaps
- Certifications or relevant training in risk management, compliance, or governance frameworks
