The Chainalysis Global Services Team drives education and mastery of cryptocurrency technology and Chainalysis products throughout the ecosystem. As the Director of Regional Services Delivery, you will lead a talented, diverse team of professionals, including crypto investigators, trainers, and industry specialists. Reporting to the VP of Global Services, you’ll drive excellence across service delivery, pre-sales activities, and global customer engagement strategies. This role demands a strategic leader with experience running a services business and specific exposure to the South EMEA region. You’ll be instrumental in aligning service delivery with global demand shifts, optimizing team structure, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Assessing and realigning our team to meet regional and global demand, including talent reshuffling and reorganizing groups based on crime type, geographic needs, or language capabilities. Ensure resources are optimized to meet diverse client needs, with a focus on South EMEA markets
- Leading a services team focused on delivering high-quality customer outcomes by refining engagement models, aligning service offerings, and ensuring efficient delivery methods. Oversee the entire customer engagement journey, providing strategic direction on service quality, resource allocation, and performance metrics, especially in South EMEA
- Partnering closely with sales leadership to define, scope, and execute services engagements for new and existing clients, including those in South EMEA. Support the sales process to enhance client confidence and credibility, leveraging market insights and client feedback to refine offerings and expand market reach
- Fostering a high-performance culture by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Drive growth within the services delivery team through capability mapping, targeted training, and effective people management, empowering team members to meet the dynamic demands of a services business
- Implementing and managing financial rigor within the services business, with a focus on project accounting, profitability analysis, and a cost-versus-return model. Conduct regular business reviews, track performance indicators, and allocate budgets strategically to meet service delivery objectives and regional growth
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience leading a services business, with specific exposure to South EMEA markets and an understanding of its unique regulatory, market, and client needs.
- Strong business acumen, focusing on financial operations, profitability, and project accounting within a services delivery model
- Strategic mindset with a track record of successfully navigating complex changes in global service models and client demand
Nice to have experience:
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or financial technology sector
- Prior experience in scaling teams across multiple regions
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations specific to the crypto or financial services industry
- Proficiency in additional languages to support a global client base
