Chainalysis is the foremost provider of crypto risk and compliance solutions. In the dynamic world of cryptocurrency, businesses navigate regulatory complexity, manage risk to safeguard their user base, investigate financial crimes, and utilize blockchain analytics for business decisions. This entire process, aimed at establishing trust and long-term growth, is supported by our innovative solutions, which provide comprehensive insights into blockchain data.
We are seeking a highly talented Product Manager to help us build the next generation of our Crypto Risk and Compliance offerings. The Risk and Compliance team is focused on using tailored Chainalysis data to help our private sector customers achieve effective risk management, which is done today through real-time monitoring and alerts at both the transaction and entity levels. The team approaches this unique opportunity not just from a macro understanding of the complex and evolving crypto and regulatory landscape, down to a micro, customer-first understanding of the unique workflows and requirements of risk and compliance teams. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated Product Manager to build industry-leading products for an exciting – and highly dynamic – market.
In this role, you’ll:
- You will perform in-depth customer research and deeply understand our customers’ problems, which you will translate into a comprehensive product strategy
- You will take initiative amidst an often ambiguous environment to drive progress on a complex customer problem and dynamic market
- You will work with developers and designers to build, develop, and execute on a product roadmap, defining and prioritizing features and requirements
- You will set clear OKRs for the team, receive buy-in from your stakeholders and start delivering against those OKRs
- You will clearly present long-term plans to senior leadership and receive their buy-in to execute on a long-term plan
- You will create frameworks for prioritization between various customer requests, GTM requirements and technical needs.
- You will establish build-measure-learn loops, and experimentation in product
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, minimum 2 years of product management experience with proven results.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics or a quantitative discipline preferred
- Track record of managing complex product development cycles and working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize projects (ideation to launch) while keeping a key focus on improving metrics
- Knowledge and experience with financial systems, technology, and regulation – particularly those with experience working in the following industries: exchanges, fintech, banking, and payments
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and users.
- Worked effectively with the sales team and customer success to communicate the product’s value to a diverse set of clients
- Passionate and curious about the Blockchain, Crypto, and Web3 space
Nice to have experience:
- Knowledge and experience working with risk and compliance teams
- Experience in the crypto industry and/or understanding of blockchain data
