Rust Smart Contract Developer – Preferred Location: European Time Zone
At Liquidium, we’re leading the way in P2P borrowing and lending on Bitcoin, and we’re pushing further to bridge Bitcoin with other decentralized networks. We’re looking for a developer with deep experience in Solana who’s excited about expanding into Rust-based smart contracts on platforms like ICP. This role offers the opportunity to explore cross-chain possibilities and create secure, scalable solutions that help users leverage their assets across multiple networks. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and refine smart contracts on Solana, with the flexibility to extend into other Rust-based environments like ICP.
- Architect cross-chain functionality that brings Bitcoin lending and borrowing to more users, utilizing the unique capabilities of each protocol.
- Contribute to the core backend stack (Postgres, TypeScript).
- Collaborate with a team passionate about decentralized finance, working closely to bring innovative solutions to asset lending and borrowing on Bitcoin.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong expertise in Rust, with proven experience developing on Solana or similar ecosystems.
- Curiosity to explore and adapt to other Rust-based platforms, particularly ICP, and a passion for cross-chain interoperability.
- Proficiency in backend technologies like Postgres, Prisma, and TypeScript.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, and proficiency in English for clear communication.
- Interest in the BTC ecosystem.
- Highly preferred location: European time zone.
