Our platform is built on both Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) and utilizes several other cloud GCP and AWS technologies as well as Bazel and Jenkins build environments.
Whether you have prior leadership experience or you’ve led technical initiatives as a senior or tech lead, we are looking for someone with a passion for building and scaling infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a small team of DevOps engineers, driving both technical direction and best practices.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and highly available infrastructure systems.
- Spearheaded automation projects, focusing on continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (development, security, product) to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain and improve security protocols throughout infrastructure processes.
- Drive innovation by recommending and implementing new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Document key infrastructure processes and workflows to ensure operational transparency and efficiency.
RequirementsThe Right Candidate:
- 2+ years in a leadership role, as a manager or a tech lead in a DevOps team with some exposure to guiding or mentoring team members.
- Solid hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- 3+ years with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g. ArgoCD, Crossplane, and other gitops tools), and automation tools.
- 3+ years with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong understanding of security best practices and their application to infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to systems management and improvement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Ideally
- Background in blockchain or deep tech.
- Familiarity with cryptographic systems, including zero-knowledge proofs.
- Experience in startup environments or high-growth companies.
- Experience working with Bazel.
- Has an academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
