We are looking for a seasoned Platform Systems Engineer with experience with self-service kiosk hardware, software and services. This is a highly technical role where the right candidate will need to demonstrate breadth and depth of technical skill and ability.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in supporting and developing cloud solutions.
- Working experience with AWS is required (AWS network, compute, storage, and security products).
- Experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to deliver well-engineered solutions on schedule.
- Work with business and engineering partners to deploy new infrastructure.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Monitor the availability, latency, and overall system health. On-call incident and change management.
- Participating in on-call rotations (Open to overnight).
- Strong communication skills with strong written and oral skills.
- Experience with telecom solutions for SMS delivery is a plus.
- Experience with ATM / Kiosk infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.
- General passion and knowledge of fintech and crypto.
- Demonstrated experience working with Kiosk or ATM hardware platforms with an emphasis on cash-based systems.
- Experience working with embedded systems including Android based platforms.
- Hands on experience with mobile data solutions including identifying service provider solutions.
- Linux (Debian based) server experience.
- Ability to provide critical thinking and thought leadership in complex environment.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively (verbal and written).
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
