Storj is looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect who has experience working with and supporting channel partners and boutique systems integrators. This person will have effective networking, problem solving and presentation skills with experience taking prospective customers through a use-case focused, constructive dialog. Additionally, this person will work directly with customers to help them successfully leverage Storj technology stack to develop, train, fine tune, and deploy the next generation of generative AI foundation models at scale.
Note: This position is fully remote, requires someone who lives in Bay Area, CA, and who does not require relocation or visa sponsorship. We are currently unable to sponsor work visas. Additionally, the team you will be joining is globally distributed, with members located in North America and Europe. Therefore, this position necessitates flexibility regarding working hours.
Responsibilities
- Help a diverse range of AI companies to adopt the right architecture.
- Support the evolution and roadmap of the Storj platform and services, and interfacing between our engineering teams and customers.
- Identify, establish, curate and build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators and VCs and serve their AI infrastructure needs.
- Develop AI specific technical content, such as blog posts, sample code, benchmarking data, prototypes and solutions built on top of Storj stack.
- Attend AI focused networking events to build relationships in the AI community in the Bay Area and potentially globally.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant work experience as a solution architect.
- Working knowledge of cloud and multi-cloud data strategies.
- Experience architecting AI customer requirements to the cloud
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience working with Python and generative AI libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow
- Understanding of technical details and techniques used in tuning generative AI foundation models using techniques like RAG, PEFT, RLHF
- Experience scaling model training and inference using technologies like Slurm, ParallelCluster
- Experience with related technology areas such as distributed filesystems and high performance networking
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned quotas in a technical support role working with an account executive.
- Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
Salary Range
- Base salary $189,000-$240,000 USD depending on level and geo adjust/location in the U.S.
- On Target Earnings - 70% of total compensation will be salary based. 30% will be sales incentive compensation.
