About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to help evolve 11:FS Pulse. You’ll become the principal developer in our team, building out new features of the platform. We are strong believers in building accessible web systems using HTML, CSS and standard web APIs wherever possible. We use vanilla JavaScript, so experience of working in a non-framework-dependant environment is great to have.
Building customer-facing web systems is a team effort, and we value individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and work well with others. Lone geniuses are brilliant, just not for us.
In this role, you will:
- Build, test, deploy and own all HTML, CSS and JavaScript-based work for the 11:FS Pulse platform as part of a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional team.
- Iterate on our existing platform, building reusable components to use across our product.
- Participate in regular showcases of new work to the product owners and other business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with your team via standups, sprint planning, roadmap planning, knowledge sharing and demonstrations.
You have:
- Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- Background and/or enthusiasm for the ways we work:
- Build automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment to production systems
- Agile/iterative development processes
- Collaborative design and development
- Nice-to-haves:
- AWS using Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, CloudWatch
- Full-stack development using PHP
- Craft CMS
- Financial Services experience
