To support our continued growth, we are looking for a (Junior) Data Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Data team and work with their team to take E2E responsibility for our data warehouse and data pipelines.
Aufgaben
- Develop and maintain data pipelines: build, monitor, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to process, clean, and transform data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Manage and scale the data warehouse, optimizing the structure and its performance to support business analytics needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as compliance and sales, to understand data requirements and implement solutions that address business needs.
- Data quality assurance: perform regular quality checks, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of the data infrastructure.
- Visualize insights: create and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure data security: ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices, safeguarding sensitive information within the data infrastructure.
Qualifikation
- Foundational knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Snowflake. Experience with DBT is a plus.
- Understanding of modern data architecture and interest in improving existing data workflows for performance and scalability.Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with data transformation using SQL and Python is a must, as is familiarity with libraries like pandas or NumPy.
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure Storage).
- Ideally, knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub for collaborative development and maintaining clean codebases.
- Ideally, experience in handling large datasets, data cleaning, and data transformation tasks.
- Interest in blockchain technology and finance is essential; familiarity with blockchain data structures or APIs is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (at least B2); German is a plus.
