Job Description

We are looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our development team. Put simply, you’ll be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work. Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. You’ll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables.

Ultimately, you’ll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.

Responsibilities

Helping research and development teams apply the Scrum framework
Help planning deliverables
Monitor team performance
Resolving issues that hinder the teams’ work
Manage each project’s scope and timeline
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint

Required Qualifications

5+ years of IT software Project Management experience
3 years of experience in a scrum master role
Strong oral and written English communication skills
JIRA experience
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Proven ability to function in a stressful, fast moving and rapidly evolving environment
Bachelor’s Degree required

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with software development
Familiarity with systems development lifecycle
Blockchain Experience
Crypto world enthusiast
Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)
Excellent communication and team-based skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field
Scrum master certification is a plus
