About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Creative Director to develop captivating and immersive gaming experiences and activations rooted in our wonderful Sandbox Ecosystem for our top partners (GUCCI, The Walking Dead, Paris Hilton and more).

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and understanding of gaming, web3, NFT's, crypto, and metaverse platforms. It will conduct research, develop proposals, and coordinate and own their creative execution. We are looking for someone willing to get hands-on with all our tools (Game Maker, VoxEdit), understand them, and maximize their potential.

As the Creative Director, you will oversee the artistic direction, design strategy, and user experience across every top-tier brand activation. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the visual and interactive elements of our experiences and ensuring that we deliver exceptional and engaging player experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide artistic vision and creative direction for the development of our web3 gaming activations and experiences.
Collaborate closely with all necessary teams to ensure the seamless project execution (account managers, business, production, marketing, tech and others)
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of artists, designers, and animators to deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
Establish and maintain a cohesive artistic style and brand identity across all activations and marketing materials.
Develop and implement design strategies that enhance user engagement, usability, and overall player experience.
Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to the creative team to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency in their work.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web3 gaming and interactive media.
Collaborate with external partners, such as artists, sound designers, and composers, to enhance the overall audio-visual experience of our games.
Work closely with the product management and business team to define and refine game concepts, features, and monetization strategies.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to drive the evolution of our web3 gaming platform.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role ideally in the web3 gaming industry
Provide artistic vision and creative direction for the development of our web3 gaming projects.
In-depth understanding of web3 gaming
Strong artistic and design sensibilities with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects.
Proficiency in leading and managing creative teams, including artists, designers, and animators.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Advanced knowledge of industry-standard software and tools related to game design, graphic design, and animation.
Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints and project requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design challenges.
Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and preferences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships with customers.
A proactive, self-motivated and innovative mindset with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and design trends.
