We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team, supporting the deployment of our cutting-edge carrier offload solutions onto enterprise wireless networks. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our sales, technical, and customer success teams, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of the Helium Mobile network into complex wireless environments.
💡 What You’ll Do:
- Technical Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.
- Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process to build trust and confidence with prospective clients.
Deployment Support:
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of software and configurations onto enterprise wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work closely with customer IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.
- Develop and document deployment plans, workflows, and best practices.
Technical Expertise:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Helium Mobiles software, blockchain, tokenomics, and industry standard wireless networking protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging wireless technologies.
Customer Success:
- Act as a technical advisor to customers post-deployment, ensuring they maximize the value of the software.
- Provide training and guidance to customer teams on using and managing the software effectively.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improvement.
Collaboration:
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to relay customer insights and contribute to feature enhancements.
- Support marketing initiatives by contributing to technical content, webinars, and case studies.
☑️ What Makes You The Perfect Fit:
- Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree including technical studies, for example Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or deployment role, preferably within enterprise networking or wireless software solutions.
- Strong understanding of wireless networking concepts, protocols, and enterprise infrastructure (e.g., access points, controllers, VLANs, firewalls, antenna positioning).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting wireless network devices and software.
- Experience with enterprise IT environments, including integration with systems such as Active Directory, RADIUS, and network monitoring tools.
- Required Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based software solutions and APIs.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with wireless network protocols (eg. Passpoint)

- The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

- Tier 1 (San Francisco / New York City): $138K - $186K
- Tier 2 (Boston, Seattle, DC, San Diego, Los Angeles, CA State Avg): $124K - $167K
- Tier 3 (Austin, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, Portland, Philadelphia, Sacramento): $117K - $158K
- Tier 4 Other, Miami, Columbus, Raleigh-Durham, SLC, Orlando, Eugene, NH, San Antonio): $110K - $148K
