After setting the standard for wallet abstraction, Magic is on a mission to pioneer the next phase of abstraction: chain abstraction. With so many L1s, L2s and L3s entering the space in addition to new VMs, it’s never been more crucial to solve identity and liquidity fragmentation that spans across chains—this is how we’ll achieve true interoperability and seamless user experiences. Magic is building a unified, cross-chain network that will maximize efficiency and accessibility for developers and users alike.

Role Overview
As the Head of Partnerships, you will be instrumental in expanding Magic’s (Magic.link and MagicNewton.com) market presence, driving strategic partnerships, and promoting the adoption of our Newton Wallet and Newton Keystore. Your focus will be on identifying high-value partnership opportunities, building relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet our ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish the platform as the go-to solution wallet for chain abstraction and AI Agent Web3 use cases.
- Identify new markets, use cases, and business opportunities in DeFi, AI-driven dApps, multi-chain ecosystems, and beyond.
- Define and lead expansion efforts in key global markets, ensuring widespread adoption of the platform.
- Ecosystem Development:
- Build strong relationships with ecosystem players and KOLs to help amplify Magic’s narrative.
- Drive developer onboarding by working with product and technical teams to provide seamless tools and integrations.
- Solution Evangelism:
- Articulate the value of Magic Newton ecosystem and product portfolio: i) ChainAbstracted Newton Wallet SDK ii) Decentralized Keystore Rollup iii) Embedded wallet SDK
- Promote seamless integration of Magic’s tools into existing and new products for enterprises and Web3 startups.
- Market Insights & Strategy:
- Stay informed on industry trends in blockchain, decentralized identity, and passwordless authentication.
- Provide feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to align offerings with market needs and customer pain points.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with the Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for partners.
- Represent Magic.link and MagicNewton.com at industry events, conferences, and meetups to increase visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in web3 (must)
- Proven track record of building relationships with partners to drive co-marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, DeFi, tokenomics, and the broader crypto landscape.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for blockchain and the potential of decentralized technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Web3 projects in DeFi, AI, or Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SDKs, APIs, and developer integration workflows.
- Knowledge of passwordless authentication, decentralized identity, and blockchain wallets.
- Existing network of contacts in blockchain and Web3 communities.
- Crypto Twitter/X presence.
Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
