About the role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Legal/Compliance Operations, and Risk Operations. This role will be instrumental in analyzing data and providing insightful reporting that drives decision-making for our stakeholders.
- Collect, process, and cleanse data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract valuable business insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Work closely with different GBS functions such as Customer Service, Legal/Compliance Operations, and Risk Operations to understand their data needs and challenges.
- Analyzing customer interactions and feedback to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Using data to understand customer behavior and needs, helping to enhance customer service strategy.
- Developing and monitoring key metrics to measure the effectiveness of customer service initiatives.
- Translate complex findings and data into a simplified format and provide actionable business insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track key business metrics.
- Contribute to the implementation of data analytics tools and software, enhancing the capability of the team to convert data into business insights.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects and deliver on data-related tasks and projects.
- Assist in the creation of data governance policies and uphold data integrity at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
- Fluent in Chinese, for communicating with key stakeholders based in China and HK.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and databases such as SQL, Python, Power BI ,Quick BI, etc.
- Strong knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a customer service or compliance/risk operations function will be considered a plus.
