Working as Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for managing and optimising the first stages of this process at FlightStory. This role will act as the primary liaison between the company and external recruitment agencies, headhunters, and other talent sourcing partners, ensuring alignment with FlightStory’s hiring goals and vision. Additionally, the role will oversee the screening and evaluation of applications, ensuring only the highest-quality candidates progress through the recruitment funnel.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with external partners while ensuring a seamless and effective recruitment process that attracts A-Players aligned with Flight Story’s growth ambitions.
Responsibilities
External Recruitment Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, headhunters, and sourcing partners to ensure alignment with FlightStory’s talent acquisition strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all external recruitment partners, providing clear role briefs, expectations, and performance feedback.
- Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and fee structures to ensure optimal value and results from agency engagements.
- Monitor and assess the performance of recruitment partners using key metrics, adjusting strategies to maximise efficiency and candidate quality.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Oversee the end-to-end process of candidate sourcing, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-calibre talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the Head of Candidate Experience to define talent requirements, role priorities, and cultural fit criteria.
- Ensure FlightStory's unique employer brand and values are consistently communicated by external partners to attract aligned candidates.
- Proactively explore new sourcing channels and strategies to expand the talent pool and reach diverse, high-potential candidates.
Screening & Selection Process
- Lead the initial screening of candidates submitted by external partners, assessing qualifications, experience, and alignment with FlightStory’s values.
- Provide detailed insights and recommendations to hiring managers based on screening outcomes, ensuring a smooth transition into the interview process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of candidate progress within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring full compliance and visibility.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Candidate Experience, People Team, and hiring managers to ensure recruitment processes align with broader business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on sourcing trends, hiring challenges, and recruitment market insights.
- Regularly review hiring needs and adjust recruitment strategies to ensure FlightStory remains agile and competitive in attracting top talent.
Process Optimisation & Reporting
- Continuously assess and improve the recruitment process, leveraging data analytics to identify bottlenecks and enhance efficiency..
- Implement best practices and new technologies to streamline sourcing and screening efforts while maintaining a high-touch, candidate-centric approach.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, with a strong focus on managing external recruitment partners.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation processes, and recruitment best practices in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align internal and external partners towards common hiring goals.
- Highly analytical with experience using recruitment metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing tools.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and process efficiency.
- A deep understanding of Flight Story’s mission, values, and culture, with the ability to translate them into recruitment strategies.
