Who You Are
As
Crypto Trader, you will be one of the key people responsible for
Coins.ph’s crypto trading for providing customers with liquidity and best execution. In your role, you will have oversight over the OTC desk and trading PnL. You will be responsible for managing execution of trades and ensuring the best service possible for our customers.
The results from your efforts will directly impact both the internal control as well as the bottom line of the company. You should be comfortable with deadlines and working under pressure. You have a knack for moving quickly while still paying attention to detail. You should be able to leverage data to drive key strategic decisions and rapidly iterate on ideas alongside other members of our trading, finance, and engineering teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and PricingMonitor local and international market prices to secure the best rates and familiarize yourself with different reference rates.Stay informed about changes in the financial market and provide timely feedback.
- Account Management and Compliance
- Revise and manage customer THB reserve accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory operating procedures.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Profit and Loss (P&L) Oversight
- Record, maintain, and track P&L for internal books and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and report daily profit and loss to relevant stakeholders.
- Operational Efficiency
- Review and approve operational requests related to customer order processing.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure processes align with SOPs, offering support when necessary.
- Strategy Development and Execution
- Implement effective trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Collect and analyze relevant market data to inform decision-making.
- Reporting and Forecasting
- Provide market feedback, forecasts, and account updates to your immediate supervisor.
- Deliver insights based on data analysis to improve trading performance.
Job Requirements
- 4 years experience in Crypto trading
- Excellent analytical, and financial skills, with strong attention to detail
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders well
- Confident with using data to generate insights on your own. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive improvements
