As a Designer within the Marketing team, you’ll work on high-impact, quick-turn assets such as reports, white papers, events, presentations and social media posts. While this role focuses more on production design, you might occasionally work on projects that require more big-picture, conceptual thinking. You’ll work cross-functionally with different teams across Product, Sales, Marketing and Engineering, delivering high-quality designs with attention to detail. You’ll translate strategy and copy into thoughtful and engaging visual designs. This role is a part-time contract role, with a 10-20 hour weekly commitment. Although this role is fully remote, candidates within US & EU time zones are preferred.
What we’re looking for:
- You have experience in a fast-paced environment, such as startups or agencies.
- Expertise in digital design tools such as Figma, and Notion for documentation and collaboration.
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, namely Illustrator and InDesign, and knowing how to prepare and package files for print.
- Experience designing engaging social posts.
- You’re an effective communicator, and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- You enjoy working on a variety of projects—from events to social posts—and to you, no project is too big or too small.
- You are a self-starter who thrives on fast execution.
About the team:
- You’ll work closely with other brand designers and content marketers.
- Designs are dynamic and flexible, and last-minute changes and edits might come up. Iteration is quick and mostly done real-time through Slack threads and huddles. The Designer needs to be responsive and open to quickly iterating on designs when needed.
- Work hours vary and can be flexible, as long as communication on availability is clear.
