Position Summary:
Cboe's Data Vantage business is seeking a highly motivated Junior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth, through the sale of market data to institutional clients, broker-dealers, hedge funds, retail brokers, market data vendors and other financial institutions. The Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding Cboe's market presence and enhancing client relationships within the rapidly evolving financial markets landscape.
Location: flex hybrid in NYC office
Responsibilities
- Contribute to revenue growth for Cboe Market Data products
- Identify prospects and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, cold calling, email and various outbound prospecting initiatives
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Meet and exceed sales goals (targets) and assist sales team with closing opportunities.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline
- Provide management with accurate forecast of pipeline
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Marketing, and Client Engagement teams, to generate leads based on client requirements and differentiate Cboe's offerings in the marketplace.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Sales experience required, preferably in the market data and/or capital markets industry
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
- Established contact base within target market data and financial trading community
- Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and knowledge of financial and information products.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Strong multi-tasking and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 5
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $109,650-$135,450. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time. If you live in one of the following areas or if you work in a Cboe office in the following areas, the range may be higher according to the geographic differentials listed below:
US Geographic Differentials:
- 110%: Austin TX, Chicago IL, Denver CO, San Diego CA
- 115%: Los Angeles CA, Seattle WA
- 120%: Boston MA, Washington DC
Within the range, individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
